Thursday, November 28th, 2002 @ 10:43pm. Category: KMorg.Tonight was the most fun I’ve had in a long time.
Ian (a sort-of friend that I don’t really like too much, but since he’s moved away he’s been getting less annoying) called me up and said I just /had/ to go to Denny’s with him, Anthony (very good friend/little brother-type guy), and this guy Douglas whom I don’t know but they swear I’ll like. I take them up on it, and meet them at Denny’s. Douglas has the knack for telling funny stories. He’s got the gestures, the voices, the material, it’s great. So we three have fun for a about an hour when Sarah and Katie, two people who are fun and cool and that no-one’s seen in a while b/c they (like me) went off to college show up. We all talk and have fun for a while, then Pete (friend from band and debate, although he’s quit both of those), his older sister Robin, and her friend Roger show up. Pete and I do some serious catching up. We’re all having a blast catching up/introducing/telling funny stories/ect. By the time we leave we’ve been at Denny’s for well over 3 hours, the waitress who was serving us left (so no tip– we saw her go out the door; the busboy was eyeing our table for a tip), and the workers had been implying we should leave for about an hour and a half. We were loud, but we were having so much fun it’s hard to help it.
I also remembered the name of the SNES game I’ve been trying to remember for years now. (It’s On the Ball, should anyone want to know.)
Now I’m talking to Ryan and it’s a good thing and my cat is purring happily on my lap, as well. A good night.
Oh, ah, Thanksgiving… yeah, that was pretty boring, nothing much happened. Tonight is where it’s at.
