I just wanted to post.

I think the Esperanto forum would do better if the primary person posting in it had a better grasp of his/her own language. *shrugs*

My week was a bit hellish, but now I’ve got a 3-day weekend to write 2 papers and prepare for 2 (much easier) tests. My zoologoly lab midterm went OK. I’m pretty sure I made at least an 80% on it. Not so great, but certainly in a safe range. I’ll see for certain next Wednesday, I suppose. My chemistry test didn’t go so well. The department here is really just one huge joke– it is by far the lease professional of the departments. Classes don’t cover the material for the tests (admitted to by one of my profs), the labs don’t coincide with what’s going on in lecture (they’re supposed to for this course), and the on-line quizzes for this class are often graded wrong (the software’s a bit screwy) and the server is usually garunteed to crash at key times. I knew tonight’s test like the back of my hand, yet I still did mediocre. Oh well.

Ryan, Paul, and Charles looked at apartments today. It looks like they are fairly certain to get a nice 1300-sq. ft, 3bedroom, 2bath apartment with fridge, stove, washder/dryer, and a patio out back. They tell me it is pretty swank. They offered to take me with them, but I had chem to study for. I’m a little jealous of them, as I’m stuck in the dorms for the next academic year. After that I think I will get an appartment in the same complex as the guys and commute to the Health Sciences Center. I don’t like the amount of crime in south OKC, and I’d hate to drive back and forth just to see my good friends. It’s only about a 30 minute commute, so it’s not too bad. I’m not exactly sure that’s what I’ll be doing, but that’s my plan for now.

I can’t wait for spring break. I’ll miss Ryan, but at least I’ll get to see my friends, sleep, and see my cats and our dog. David and I think a trip to the mall might be in order.

Speaking of David, he might be coming down this weekend. That would be sweet. I like him, and Annie seems pretty cool. Ryan’s mom and little sis are coming down for a dance thing and to go shopping on Saturday and Sunday, but perhaps I can just spend the time with David and Paul and Charles. I’m glad Ryan lets me use his laptop–I can type my papers wherever I am this weekend.
