HFCS: effika’s blog

I c/p’d this out of an e-mail to Ryan. I’m lazy, what can I say? :-) It’s what I did on Monday.

Today I went down to the Eastern extension here. It was soooo funny. The guy didn’t care when I got my transcripts in, the application was one page long, and on the health form (the other side of the app) he told me to just put checks instead of years if I’d had the vaccination. Didn’t want my shot records or anything. It was amusing.

Tonight I got called about everyone (Paul, Thai, Jason, Charles, Aaron) watching /An Evening with Kevin Smith/ over at Aaron’s house. Before I can go, I have to get my dad to move my aunt’s car, as it is a stick sports-car thing. We end up having a big fight about it, as he wouldn’t let me actually drive my car when I got it near the other one, but he wouldn’t drive my car himself. After about 10 minutes my mom chews him out and I leave the driveway, and then I get stuck behind some trains, and I get to the movie about 40 minutes into it. We watched the first disk only, because everyone was tired.

It struck me today that instead of getting together and telling the same old stories, we now just rent /An Evening with Kevin Smith/ and watch it instead. They’re the same old stories, and we watch them whenever we get together. I had hoped that we would be doing something afterwards or everyone would get bored and we’d go to Denny’s or something, but we didn’t. I got rather bored just sitting on the floor watching the same stuff I’d seen so often before. I kinda wished I hadn’t gone over. Earlier today Jason, Paul, and Thai were playing Soul Caliber at Aaron’s, and then Charles came back from Iowa and they rented the movie. I guess I missed the most boring part of it. I hope we do something more interesting tomorrow and I can participate in it.
