Gah… so I didn’t post over the weekend…

I’ve been drained of energy for a long, long time. More mentally than physically, really. Starting to feel better lately– the end of the semester is 6 weeks away (although that takes Ryan and his GBA SP away from me) and I can’t wait to work this summer. A steady income of money has always been an unatained goal for me. For instance:

Job 1: Freelance telling old people how to use Outlook.
Pay?: Very good, but sporadic.

Job 2: Give trombone lessons to beginners.
Pay?: Not bad for the job, fairly steady

It’ll be nice to work in an office at the hospital processing form letters. Boring, but decent pay and good benefits (such as my birthday off).

I’m going to hopefully go enroll in history as a night class at the satellite college at home this weekend. I’ve been trying to get Ryan to go with me, but he’s reluctant too.

Oh! Speaking of the GBA SP: Ryan’s is cobalt, and it doesn’t look as non-sexy as I thought any non-platinum color would look. It’s a metallic blue, and that helps immensely. I’m probably going to pitch in for a game sometime this week, as the GBA platform has a lot of my SNES faves. While all these newfangled 3d games are nice, nothing beats a good sprite-based game for an RPG or a platformer. If only they’d bring back Earthbound, I’d go out and buy my own GBA SP just for it. I plan to send an e-mail to Nintendo about it, so perhaps they can purchase the rights to it and get it ported nicely and put it out for all the Earthbound fans. Of course, this probably won’t happen, but it’s nice to imagine it someday would. I’m actually very interested in getting Spyro: Season of Fire for the GBA, which should give me something to do while Ryan plays the new Zelda on his Gamecube.

Federal Gov’t classes tend to suck, btw. Or at least the tests seem universally to do so. Anyway, if anybody has the chance to get AP credit or thinks of testing out of it in college, do so. I have another test in there on Tuesday and am not looking forward to it.

The weather has been sending big pointy red lightning bolts of pain into my sinuses. Weeee! I need those soothing blue waves instead…

Oh! I’m also going to be starting to think of planning to change the background and tweak things a bit on the journal, now that snow is pretty much out of the forcast. :-)

Hope everyone else is doing well. Night all.
