I’m getting mails from “Replicants” now.

My experiment in beating my brain into pulp is working. When I saw the previews before The Matrix, I wanted to see every one of them. I also thought, during the Last Samurai preview, “But Tom Cruise isn’t Jewish,” meaning that he was not Japanese. Since I realize I am thinking stupid thoughts, I am not quite at the level I want to be yet. I will get there soon. A little more TV and I’ll be there. I’ll be scarce again as I continue to conduct this experiment. So far my hypothesis is true: you really can make yourself stupider just by trying.

We’ll see whether I even remember what a null hypothesis is at the end of this. If I forget about even conducting this experiment, it will be a success. I’ll consider my lack of remembering to reject my null hypothsis rejection in itself.
