HFCS: effika’s blog

Two tornadoes went through Ryan’s town last night, apparently one was about 20 feet from the house. He was at work at the time so he missed it, running the first showing of the new Matrix, and they had to stop showing the movie about 25 minutes into it. Everyone’s OK up there, and at Ryan’s house they have electricity for now. A lot of stuff got destroyed around town, utilities are spotty, and Internet is definitely down for a while there.

I gave Ryan a call when I got news of the storm, to check things out. I was very nervous, as I didn’t know if I should call since we broke up, but I was worried about him and his family so I called. I’m very glad I did. It would have been nice if he called me, but I guess that’s what falling out of love does to a relationship. I suppose he might have tried to get word out to me later, as I called around 1.30 and the storm happened last night. I might ask him about it later, I don’t know. Just glad everyone up there is ok for now.
