I ran so much last night I woke up with sore legs. Today I spent a lot of time walking, and my legs are happier for it. I’ll run again tomorrow.

I woke up clumsy, partially due to my legs not wanting to work so much I imagine. I’ve let my room get messy this past week, so I decided to clean it. I ended up with no less than 3 slices to my skin and multiple contusions after only tidying up about half of the room. I decided at that point it was time for a less damaging activity, and set to getting rid of my pile of laundry. Things go fine with that, until the dryer breaks just before the second load. No problem, I’ll just head over to the neighborhood laundrette.

And then a strange, strange coincidence occured.

My friend Logan had moved away to Florida early in our senior year of high school, so as to attend U of F. I see him in the passenger seat of a car at an intersection just before the laundrette. He pulls over and I park at my destination. He trots up, hugs me, and we chat for a bit. I give him Thai’s new phone number (they used to be great friends) before we head our seperate ways.

This would have never happened if our dryer hadn’t misbehaved. I feel all oogy, heh.

I’m getting used to spending most of my day by myself. It’s getting harder to talk to people when I do have contact with them. I tend to talk to myself during the day, but I think that’s actually detrimental to conversational skills. Of course, it does make it easier, not needing to be around people so much.

In sorta-unrelated news, Paul and Charles ran off to OKC to shop and didn’t tell anyone! (I don’t know why it’s so shocking, but it is! Be shocked by it!)

  1. You’re such a big geek! If I don’t talk to people for a long time I start getting all chatty with myself too. Plus, all geeks tend to be homebodies if left unchecked. Oh if only you lived closer, we’d be great friends!
