HFCS: effika’s blog

So I’m here at work chatting with Mandy and Dr. Duncan calls to tell us that if the sirens go off we need to get to cover, as there are bad storms about. As we are deep within the dugeon that is Sarkeys we had no clue and went to look outside… wow, it’s dark there. It’s lightened up a little but now there’s hail. It’s a pretty fast storm so hopefully we’ll both be able to get out of here soon. My cheaply-built apartment is a Bad Place to be in inclement weather, so I’d prefer to wait it out on campus, what with the nuclear fallout shelters and whatnot we’ve got here. The nice dinner I had planned for tonight will wait until tomorrow night, when hopefully things look nicer. I called Sean to let him know I was OK, and he did indeed seem concerned about my status. Felt nice. :-)
