Randomly, Hello

Thursday, July 1st, 2004 @ 11:56pm. Category: Linkage.

First, a smattering of what’s come across my browser tabs today:

That’s a camel, not a Caddy. The Car Domain site is very funny to browse around. Ugly cars abound. And of course you find the occaisonal funny page about camels.

I don’t work in anything but IE. Yes, some poor fool doesn’t realize that other people might want to read his website.

A leading manufacturer of pressure sensors and calibration equipment. A typo on 8bit lead me to find this one.

I’m trying to remember what I did last summer. Last summer I spent the majority of the time by myself, as my friends were either working or didn’t care much to hang out. Last June I had a night class and slept in until 5pm… in July I was at the pharmacy during the day, and at night I came home and ran and did… what? Hmmm… I hung out with my family, playing Mario Party. SimCity 3000… read motherboards.org forums; /., read anything I could get my hands on, taught myself how to skin Mozilla, played around in Knoppix, tweaked and bought new hardward for my computer, got back into Interactive Fiction and knitting, started coloring a giant poster (that I still need to finish), talked to Sean and Ryan via aim/y! (remember when it was Yahoo Pager?), acquired all kinds of MP3’s, wandered around Wal-Mart late at night looking at crafts and housewares, drove around town after dusk to re-acquaint myself with the streets of my hometown (I used to know where every single street was– granted, the town was only ~20k, but it was a /very/ spread out town.), blogged on KMorg about how I missed Ryan and life was boring, read bash, creatively enhanced Oriental-flavor ramen, spent hours (literally) reading e2… and… hmmm… I think that’s about it for now.

I know, the grammar is horrid, but this is a spur-of-the-moment post. :-)]]>
