Today I woke up early, about 9.30am. I was trying to go back to sleep, but then I heard Ryan sign on. I was curious as to how his party went last night, so I got up to talk to him. Turns out it didn’t go all that well, as Sarah paid more attention to Paul than to him, and at the end of everything Paul and Sarah slept in Ryan’s bed with Ryan on the floor. He was hungry, so he picked me up and we went to Krispy Kreme. We talked about the party some more, then went back to my place to hang out. We cuddled and fell asleep on the bed for about 2 hours. It was nice, but it wasn’t good. It wasn’t what I wanted/needed. I started thinking about the first time I fell asleep on Sean. It was last fall sometime, and we were watching Kid Notorious. I remember I wore my blue button-down shirt and my chunky black sweater, so that I would have layers to take off if his room was too hot. I’d had a very long day, perhaps the day with my microbiology lab. He held me as we watched TV, and I felt so comfortable. I closed my eyes, and just layed there enjoying his warmth and the sense of safety. He woke me up with a kiss. :-)

I didn’t feel particularly guilty about cuddling with Ryan this morning. I guess that means I’m starting to get over Sean. I miss Sean like crazy, though. He is my best friend, and we’ve shared too much to let him out of my life so easily. I hope he is missing me too, and decides I can be his best friend again.

PS to everyone– Monday we are getting COX as our ISP, and hopefully the router and everything else involved in that. It should be set up by the time I get home from work, but there is always the chance that we won’t have Internet for a while. I apologize in advance for the absence.
