Everything is getting taken care of, car-wise. After work Charles took me to Hertz and I got a Chevy Cavalier. I’ve only got it for a week right now, but hopefully the body shop will have everything finished by then. With the labor day weekend I’m a little concerned, but I’ll figure something out about it. The Cavalier is meant for a much bigger person than I. My Saturn was just the perfect size for me, but this car’s driver’s seat makes me feel like a midget.

Damage to car: ~$2700. Kelly Blue Book value of car: ~$3500 trade in, ~$4800 retail. Would have been nice to just been given a chunk of cash to buy another car with, but at least this way there’s no extra loans to take on.

We have cable tv here again, and cable internet. Tomorrow Melissa and Amber will get it, too, for then we’ll have a router. It’s actually been nice not having cable, but I did miss getting to watch Adult Swim last night. Anybody know if it was any good? My friends here don’t watch it.

Dave really pissed me off today. We were talking about our weekends after Cell Biology, and we were both having relationship problems. Dave says, “I can garauntee you, Amy, that no matter what you’ve got going on, and I admit I don’t know, mine are worse.” So I tried to tell Dave what was up, but he wouldn’t hear it. Just said that his had to be that much worse. I was about to tell him that at least Lis was still talking to him and I /did/ see her car parked at his house this morning so I assume they’re not so horribly bad, but then the insurance agent called and I had to end the conversation. I didn’t used to see what Sean meant about Dave being a pig, but now I understand. I could have punched him in the middle of the North Oval for all to see.
