So talked to Paul for a little bit on Friday. It didn’t really go so well, and I think he might be back to avoiding me. Which really, really sucks, b/c he’s fun to hang out with and I miss him when we can’t hang out. He is also often a deciding factor as to whether I get to hang out with him and Charles. It’s unfortunate, but that’s the way things are set up right now.

I was terribly, terribly bored this evening. I was itching for something to do, for people to hang out with. Ryan was at work, Charles was heading to a party, and Paul was being his usual self. Started chatting with Jason some, then Ryan, then my friend Garret. Garret had rather a tough evening and needed some company– he’s only about 30 minutes away, so at 11.15pm tonight I headed up. We spent over 4 hours talking and hanging out. It felt really good to catch up with him. We haven’t really hung out in a long time, and even if the circumstances were less than ideal, it’s always a plus to talk with an old friend. That’s the most social I’ve been since Paul started his douchebaggery shortly after the new year. It was just what I needed this weekend. We’re going to have to hang out more– he’s much too cool to let a couple of miles of traffic get in the way of again.
