Not much has been going on. Just the usual stuff– working and hanging out. Paul stopped by tonight and we chatted about how Jason’s doing transplanted into a new place, and what Paul’s doing for work. Looks like this town is crap for work and he’s thinking about teaching back home for a month over the summer, but he made it quite certain that he’d be here on the weekends to hang out. :-)

Ah, yes, the pictures! First up is a picture of my little guys from work. I know this means almost nothing to everyone reading this, but look at how strong those bands are! My e. coli k7 is producing the proteins I want so nicely in the first gel! The bottom gel shows that they’re having some problems (oxidases are being so tricky lately) but they’re still pumping out lots of good protein for us. It was just such a beautiful set of gels that I had to share it with the world.

I just found this one very funny in a tinfoil hat kind of way. Yay Google News and your computer-ranked stories!
