Except that I’m stuck here because my class starts Monday, and they arrive back late Monday night.
Neither of us seemed to appreciate that particular detail too much, but absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that, yes?
He did give me a cute little stuffed leopard last night so that I’d have something to snuggle with while he’s gone. Jay seemed so concerned that I wouldn’t be able to sleep well without his wonderfully warm self next to me. I guess we’ll find out tonight!
I am also house-sitting, which for me translates into playing Final Fantasy VII all weekend. If I feel nice I might finish his laundry and tidy up the kitchen. We made cookies the other night and I have NO CLUE how he can stand a kitchen that messy.
We woke up at 7-ish today so that Jay could get to his friend Katie’s house by 8, so that they could leave by 9. I think we all finally left from Katie’s house at around 10.30am. :-)
