Thursday, September 15th, 2005 @ 3:46am. Category: General.I have the bug for changing my stylesheets again (largely thanks to re-finding Urn’s blog). I’ve had relatively the same stylesheet since I first opened on effika.quackster.net (defunct) after Killingmachines.org went down in May 04 and took too long to come back up. I always amaze myself with how different this site can look by changing one file. Those of you not familiar with CSS Zen Garden might want to take a look, especially if you’re still writing 1995 HTML and think your Motorola StarTac is the “bomb”.
Fall is such a fun time for me. I love storms. Absolutely positively can’t get enough of that wonderful thunder and lightning goodness. I just wish my body felt the same. With the nice rain that’s come through I’ve also had a nasty headache. I took 2g’s of Tylenol this afternoon, the “safe” maximum dose for me (most of you can take 4-6g before liver failure). Mon mal de tte was only dented. Curse you, sinuses! Your lightening of the head, resonating of the voice, and warming of the air I breathe doesn’t seem worth it during the Fall and Spring.
Speaking of storms, there’s a great one going on right now. It’s been going on most of the evening. At 8 o’clock Jay and I were supposed to go chalk campus for the O.U. Improv! show this weekend, but on the way to campus we noticed some rather impressive displays of cloud-to-cloud lightning. Besides Raychel (who organized it) nobody else showed up and we postponed the chalking. I guess when all the local stations are talking about tstorms and tornado watches chalking seems like a rather silly idea. In fact, afterwards on our way to Braum’s (to sate my chocolate malt craving) it began raining. On the plus side, if OUI does go chalking tomorrow they’ll have nice clean sidewalks.
Also, for anybody who doesn’t know by now, tomorrow is Jay’s 23rd birthday! There will be a party this weekend before the OUI show. Check Jay’s lj for more info on that. He will hopefully figure out where he wants to go tomorrow to eat, and I can embarass him by demanding free cheesecake.
