I’ve had lots of exciting things go on (depressed gun nut blowing himself up while Jay and I were on our way to Improv practice this Saturday, for one) but what gets me to post? A cold front! With a sudden temperature drop into the 50’s! With wind gusts to 40mph!

NWS advisories for the win!

I love cold weather. I love it because I don’t get sweaty (and therefore selfconscious) walking to class. I love it because I have cute jackets and cold weather accessories. I love it because I can leave the heat on 60F and cuddle up in blankets and drink hot tea and coacoa. I love it because I am not automatically drenched in sweat merely by going to bed. I love it because I can wish for snow (even if we only get maybe and inch or two in Februrary).

According to my mom, the first complete sentences I said were, “Snow! It’s snow! Look Momma, snow!” My mom thought I was babbling (it never snows in eastern Oklahoma) and continued making macaroni. When she turned around, though, she discovered that it was in fact snowing and I was in fact using subjects and verbs together.

For sitting through that, here’s a picture I snapped of Kaylee before Jay and I left for groceries. She pulled the towel up around herself and proceeded to nap in a cute fashion.
