Things have been pretty busy. I got a job which I shall start on the 27th. It’s one of those 8-5 jobs (blech) but it uses my degree and seems interesting and varied (any aspect of keeping the public healthy is covered in the job description) so maybe it will balance out. I am really excited about the benefits: free health, life, and dental. I can’t wait to get my teeth cleaned again; my teeth haven’t been cleaned since last Thanksgiving and I’m feel pretty gross.

I need ideas on things to do before the 27th that I won’t be able to do once I’m employed all day. Things like visiting the park at 10am and sleeping late. I want to make the most of my time before I enter the soul-crushing world of adulthood!

1. I recently discovered that I like pickles, mustard, and ketchup mainly for their vinegar content.
2. I nearly went to Texas Tech.

5. I still read the Kitchen Comments (newsletter about OU’s food services) even though currently the only on-campus restaurant I eat at is Crossroads.
6. My favorite color is blue, although recently purple and red have been making a strong comeback.
