Who am I Kidding? I Prefer Typing.
Thursday, December 21st, 2006 @ 9:04pm. Category: General. If you are lost, read the last post. Ok, so far all I have to show are a bunch of /’s and O’s and |’s and \’s and multiple copies of the alphabet and excess b’s and n’s and m’s and f’s. And it’s all in a steno pad that is doubling as my “look official” prop. I think I might be more inclined to write real words once I have retrained my muscles into writing properly. I’m a drawer (using my fingers to draw the letters) and apparently that is the main cause of my cramped and illegible writing. Once I have properly retrained myself, I should be writing using my shoulder and elbow more, which should allow my hand to flow smoothly from letter to letter and give a more legible hand.
But that’s boring.
I actually had all sorts of cool stuff to write about, but for some reason I can’t remember it. Here’s some random stuff you may find intersting instead!
Slither is awesome. Nathan Fillion and Elizabeth Banks fans, you must watch it. Be sure to watch it with the commentary track.
We had the office Christmas party last week, and I impressed people with my ability to translate song titles from silly things like “Royal Triplet” to their real titles. And I won some Christmas socks as a door prize!
Also, I got mistaken for a 29-year-old coworker’s daughter today. She doesn’t look that old, and I certainly don’t look that young. It was quite off-putting.
