Kaylee is acting 100% back to normal.

Unfortunately, she still has loose stools. This is rather unfortunate as she’s never been a graceful creature (poor eyesight is largely to blame) and has not once, but 3 times run her tail through it. This means her humans (Jay and I) must spot clean her tail. She’s getting better at tolerating the washes, but hopefully yesterday’s tail trauma will be the last.

Since we had her on metronidazole but had to switch her to cefadoxil due to side effects, we’ve probably wiped out poor Kaylee’s good digestive bacteria. Jay took Kaylee to the vet this morning and she got some kitty probiotics. These are important to recolonize quickly, since an overgrowth of bad bacteria in the gut can trigger more pancreatitis.
