REAL (fake) TREE IS GO
Tuesday, November 27th, 2007 @ 9:41pm. Category: General.Jay needed a bunch of stuff from Hobby Lobby for his play for Medieval Drama. We came away with a mini Christmas tree, tree skirt, and a couple packages of ornaments and tiny presents. We have disappeared the broken scanner from on top the desk, and have installed the Chinese-exploiting-petroleum-guzzling plastic tree in its place (6′ up from the floor). I’d say pictures to follow, but if I didn’t take them when I was uber-excited about the tree I doubt I’ll take them later. The tree has a red and gold theme– gold tree skirt, red shiny balls, red drums, a few antiqu’d (ie lead-painted) gold stars, and a glittery 5-pointed gold star for the top. The presents are pink, blue, green, red, silver, and gold, all tied with gold bows.
So far the cat has not noticed anything is different, other than her humans standing on a chair for an extended period of time.
