Survived the tornadoes, organized some response to the tornadoes, came down with a 24-hour bug, enjoyed a burger, ate a snowcone.
That’s the last week or so.

I can’t believe how much time I spend on Facebook, just to make sure that nobody breaks up without me knowing.
That’s really the only reason I’m on– I can’t hate not knowing the good gossip.
Sigh.

So I went out of town for a week to a place without Sprint service. That meant no internet.
What I thought I’d miss and what I actually did were quite different. I thought I’d have issues with not knowing what was going on with my friends, or perhaps the world around me. [...]

Having lived here about a year, here are the things I will attempt to do to make my house better, if I can convince myself that it’s worth it:

New cooktop.
Built-in chest of drawers to replace the not-so-useful middle section of the master bedroom closet
Cabinets in the master bath painted white. (But not any other cabinets. [...]

My broken car stereo has had the slow CD from the Foo Fighter’s In Your Honor stuck in it since February of 2007. Last night, the stereo finally let it go!
Now I just need to figure out what I’m OK with getting stuck in there for another 2-ish years.

Today is odd. I’m back from my trip to Colorado Springs with my improv troupe! Pictures eventually, although they’re not really spectacular. The landscape was great but I mainly focused on people that none of you know, and even then took very few pictures.
